Artie Yellowhorse (Navajo) - New Mexico, USA Handmade Native American Pendant
Breathtaking earrings in natural Pietersite/Pietercite. These are the less available blue/brown version of the stone set in incredibly handmade silver beads.
First found in 1962, there are only two known sources of Pietersite in the world, Africa and China.
The accompanying photos show the piece under a variety of light conditions. Unfortunately the beauty of the chatoyance cannot be adequately represented.
I've NEVER had someone tell me the pictures of Pietersite looked better than the item.
