Dean & Rena Owen Kewa /Santo Domingo Pueblo - Native American Jewelry
I instantly fell in love with this pair of earrings. They are unique and such a bargain. These are backed with mother of pearl so they are very lightweight. Like most Kewa mosaic work you need to be careful to not drop them on a hard surface like a tile floor.
Dean is the son of famed artist Angie Reano Owen (click to see her work elsewhere) . Dean and his wife Rena (Williams) do high quality work of their own that, when mixed with Angie's, I need verified as to who did what.
As I was adding new items for Dean, Rena, and Angie from Santa Fe Indian Market 2016, I realized I had placed virtually NO information up about the artists and many of the individual pieces, including these. No wonder they weren't selling. These were purchased in March of 2012 but I have retained the original price, they would be significantly more expensive now. I'm re-posting these as New Arrivals so they get viewed.
