Dean & Rena Owen - Ke-Wa/Santo Domingo Pueblo

The son and daughter-in-law of legendary Angie Reano Owen.  Of course they learned at the feet of the best and it shows.  

At shows their work is commingled with Angie's and, honestly, I often find I have chosen theirs. I must admit part of it is their price point is more accessible but the quality of the work can't be questioned.

As none of them sign their work, I make Rena mark everything so I don't misrepresent whose is whose.  Dean has a more than full-time job in law enforcement as a BIA officer whose jurisdiction covers a huge area with very few officers. I don't know how he finds the time to do this but he does and seems to enjoy it.  It has absolutely nothing to do with the jewelry but he bears a strong resemblance to his mom.
