Great fetish snowman Christmas ornament. In the second photo, I lightened the background a bit so you can see the pipe. Looks like he used orange spiny for the "carrot" nose.
Robert is an award-winning fourth generation carving decedent of the great Teddy Weahkee. He concentrates his work with deer and elk antler.
Robert has created his own niche. He makes wonderful, often fanciful, and humorous non-traditional animal characters. He does a fair amount of "seasonal" pieces. This is one of his Christmas items.
This piece has inlaid jet eyes.
