Ronnie Lunasee, Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico, USA
Another eagle from Ronnie that looks like an Art Deco design. This one is smaller. I like how he was able to utilize the turquoise to make the head all blue.
Ronnie started carving in the 1980's with brother Vernon and then taught other siblings. Sometimes you will see their name misspelled as Lonasee.
Included in this prolific extended family of carvers are Kenny Chavez, Efran (Ephran) Chavez, Prudencia Quam, David Chavez, Danette Laate, Lisa Bobelu, & Fabian Tsethlikai, to name but a few.
