This is beautiful turquoise with variegated inclusions that leave the earrings with a cloud like appearance broken up with the onyx and opal accents. I'm afraid I do not know for sure the origin of the turquoise.
Cathy does beautiful work, she is one of many artists who has a steady job working for a shop. She is among my most asked for resident shop artist.
