Artie Yellowhorse, Navajo
Very dramatic bracelet. Artie is the only person from whom I have acquired peanut wood. (check to see if I currently have pendants and/or rings). This is an absolutely spectacular bracelet. A rich espresso background color with shaded, off-white "peanuts". You are not likely to run into anyone else with something similar. This is a statement piece.

Peanut wood is a sedimentary gemstone of petrified driftwood. The light-colored "peanuts" were once holes created by ship worms. When the floating wood became too water-logged, it sank to the bottom and the holes eventually filled with a light-colored sediment. Over time the wood has turned to stone.
Bracelet Size: 6-5/32" (my wrist is 6-5/8 behind the bone, I can get in on but it would need to be opened for it to be comfortable, not sure I would open it enough for it to make it "ride" my wrist)
Bracelet Dimensions (Metal Only): 5-1/8" (The band is adjustable, within limits - I would not recommend this for someone with a wrist smaller than 6")
Opening: 1-1/32"
Width of Silver Band: 1-1/16" graduated to 1/4"
Cabochon Dimensions: 1-1/8" x 1-3/8"
Weight: 2.1oz/59gr/.13lbs
