Ronnie Lunasee, Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico, USA
Very unusual. A gorgeous piece of stone and terrific sweeping curves that can't help but remind you of Art Deco design.
Ronnie started carving in the 1980's with brother Vernon and then taught other siblings. Sometimes you will see their name misspelled as Lonasee.
Included in this prolific extended family of carvers are Kenny Chavez, Efran (Ephran) Chavez, Prudencia Quam, David Chavez, Danette Laate, Lisa Bobelu, & Fabian Tsethlikai, to name but a few.
