Z Myron Panteah - Zuni/Navajo
Teardrop Heron Pendant (Only)
Handmade Sterling with
Cut-out

Myron passed away (March 2, 2016), at the age of 49

Myron Panteah, Zuni/Navajo - New Mexico, USA  Native American Jewelry

This heron is one of Myron's many animal designs. Myron was a student of the great Duane Maktima's (see elsewhere on site) Pueblo V school.  I picked up quite a few pieces of his more accessible (price-wise) work at Santa Fe Indian Market in 2015.

I had both pendants and earrings. I also had some of his gold on silver bracelets (Sorry folks, these are, how do I say it, less accessible - but gorgeous).

Myron was a very funny guy (note photo on his artist page), despite some pretty severe health issues but kept on plugging.

Remember to check the dimensions-the photos are extreme close-ups
The photos are often MUCH larger than the actual piece
