Myron Panteah , Zuni/Navajo - New Mexico, USA Native American Jewelry
This cute little bear with heartline is one of Myron's many animal designs. Myron was a student of the great Duane Maktima's (see elsewhere on site) Pueblo V school. I picked up quite a few pieces of his more accessible (price-wise) work at Santa Fe Indian Market in 2015.
I had both pendants and earrings. I also had some of his gold on silver bracelets (Sorry folks, these are, how do I say it, less accessible - but gorgeous).
Myron was a very funny guy (note photo on his artist page) but despite severe health issues but kept on plugging.
Total Height (including fixed bale): 1-3/8"H
Pendant (only) Dimensions: 7/8"H x 15/16"W
Hallmarked: Not hallmarked
Other Materials: None
Repeatable Design: No, Myron passed away in March 2016
