Myron passed away (March 2, 2016)
Myron Panteah Zuni/Navajo - New Mexico Native American Jewelry
Description: This Kokopelli is one of Myron's many whimsical designs. Myron was a student o the great Duane Maktima's (see elsewhere on site) Pueblo V school. I picked up quite a few pieces of his more accessible (price-wise) work at Santa Fe Indian Market in 2015.
I had both pendants and earrings. I also had some of his gold on silver bracelets (Sorry folks, these are, how do I say it, less accessible - but gorgeous).
Myron was a very funny guy (note photo on his artist page). Although he had severe health issues, he kept on plugging; his death was somewhat of a surprise.
