Glendora Fragua, Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico, USA
Glendora has a huge collection of blue ribbons having won virtually every major award within the Native American pottery field for her scraffito work. This shadowbox wall hanging is very original. I love this work and nobody else is doing anything like it. The pottery fish are totally handmade vase (no pottery wheel).
This is a totally new piece. Glendora did a custom order for me in 2011 but everything has been waiting for my website to go live and for me to find the time to photograph and post.
I'll be the first one to say that I need more and better photos of this but I wanted to get it visible so pardon the reflections from the glass and the sliver of my deck and yard in the background. E-mail me if you want more info.
Glendora is known to be among the finest of potters of her generation. Please see further biographical info on her in the heading of her collection page.
