Gold Slag, Onyx, & Opal
Elsie Armstrong, Navajo
Nice simple earring from Elsie. This features the use of gold slag (the red), a glass-like by-product of gold refining. Stoneweaver likes this material better than carnelian as they feel it takes a better shine.
The difference in color between the two pictures were two different light levels.
Elsie is the sister of Cathy Webster & the daughter of Marie Tsosie
Materials: Sterling Silver, Gold Slag, Black Onyx, & Imitation Opal
Dimensions (Earring only): 1/2" Diameter
