Large Convex Stamped Silver Oval

Gene & Martha Jackson - Navajo
Martha passed away in January 16, 2019
Deep, dark, lapis set in this beautiful version of a trademark design.
Their usual stamping surrounds the entire oval and is representative of a hogan. This clearly had the top and bottom stamp intentionally left off, leaving the impression of wings. The silver is nice and bright, I had to tone it down in the picture to reduce reflection.
I was so glad to see them at Prescott in July of 2017 (when I bought this) but it was heartbreaking hear of the unexpected passing of their dear daughter Bernice. Bernice was such a help to them, in addition to being an educator and working on her Doctorate, she did some jewelry work of her own.
Remember to check the dimensions-the photos are extreme close-ups
