Alvin Joe, Navajo
This is one beautiful, eye catching piece but, not dainty. Very handsome large turquoise in saw-cut setting with shadowbox. It has a figure 8 fitting to the heavy braided strap. Plain silver ferrules and large tips.
I don't know much about Alvin other than I see his work at various shops and I tend to be drawn to it before I look at his mark. This is by far the highest end piece I have ever seen of his. I kept coming back to it so I finally decided I needed to put it out to the universe.
If you have been looking for that unique piece, this may be it. I have reduced the price, right out the gate, from the original suggested price of $1,320.00 to make it more accessible.
