Beautiful cuff bracelet. Six large 12K gold fill wire interlaced to create a rope. Flanked and backed with silver. Two 12k GF twist wire accents. This is one of my favorite designs and you rarely see it.

This is NEW OLD STOCK, not previously owned or worn.  It has a bit of patina from age.  As some people prefer the patina, after photographing, I have left it unpolished, but it has been stored in a sealed plastic bag.  If you wish to return the shine, use silver polishing cloth.

Gold-filled, or gold overlay, is made by a combination heat and pressure that bonds a thin layer of karat gold to a brass (or other base metal) core.  The designation 1/20th 12-karat gold represents 1/20th (or 5%) of the total weight of the material is 12k gold. Karat gold covers the base metal surface, making it more tarnish-resistant.

Bracelet Width (Cuff): 15/16"

Total Bracelet Size: 6-5/16" (including 1-1/16"gap)

Inside Measurement (Metal Only): 5-1/4"

Bracelet Opening (Gap):  1-1/16"

Adjustable: Although it has no inlay, the nature of the design is not conducive to a lot of bending. I think it could adjust it (1/8"?) but I will not guarantee that, pieces that have been adjusted will not be subject to return.

Weight: 1.7oz/47gr/0.1lbs

Signed: F/V Tahe

Hallmarked: Sterling, 1/20 12k G.F.

Repeatable Design:  Highly Unlikely I purchased a large quantity of Tahe work from a site that was closing down in 2011 and had not been actively marketing for some time.  You might find this occasionally on the used market. Tahe style bracelets and earrings are still being made but the most current versions are much lighter weight and made of copper, brass, or silver but NO gold.  I have not seen this style, new, in many years.
