Robert Weakee, Zuni
Small hedgehog on it's back carved from a slice of deer antler. It lies flat on a surface, facing up as if the animal is on its back. Fourth generation carving decedent of the great Teddy Weahkee, He concentrates his work with deer and elk antler.
Robert has created his own niche. He makes wonderful, often fanciful, and humorous non-traditional animal characters. He does a fair amount of "seasonal" pieces.
