Artie Yellowhorse, Navajo Jeweler
This is not new to Artie but the first time I've had it in my stock. The multi-layer (3D) design was started three or four years ago. It caught on immediately and is now available in earrings, pendants, rings, bracelet, and necklace. I don't have all on hand right now but more items are in the mail as I write this.
Necklace has four arced silver rails joined at each end with jump rings to permit the necklace to hang and lay properly when worn. The right side is longer than the left as it has the jump rings for size adjustment, the left side has a lobster claw latch.
Any lines or black marks in the photos are reflections, the 3D dogwood pieces are probably the most difficult thing I have to photograph.
In the comparison photo, this necklace is the one on the right.
Artie has served as a judge at Santa Fe Indian Market and was on the Board of Directors of IACA (Indian Arts and Crafts Association). She and her daughter's Desiree and Lei Lani not only are talented and great at what they do, they are a lot of fun!
