Tahe, Gerald (Navajo) (Also possibly spelled Jerald Tahe)
Very attractive cuff bracelet. This is current work and is one of several distinct styles of "Tahe" work. It is made of 17 gauge silver (3/64" thick) so, despite the band width, it is not overly heavy. I also have some narrower cuffs in this style.
This is listed in men's jewelry due to size. It is a "unisex" cuff; if it fits and you like it, it is appropriate. Very reasonable.
At time of writing I cannot attest that Gerald is related to any other Tahe whose work is featured on my site. The Native trader from whom I purchased it stated it was Gerald's work. The "T" signature is the same that Franklin and Verna used at one time but that could be a coincidence. According to another source Gerald may be the son of Nora Tahe & Emerson Bill, I cannot verify this. As I acquire more info, I will update it.
