Ben Kaamasee, Zuni
This is the most elaborate of several works I picked up by Ben. They are the first of his work that I've had. This is took a lot of work with great results. I'm guessing Ben is Derrick or Elton's son but have been unable to definitively confirm that as yet.
One of the most prominent of the extended Laate family of carvers, Derrick is related to the late Pernell Laate, Elton Kaamasee, Rueben & Esteban Najera, Max Laate, Lewis Malie, Calvin Weeka, Jerrold Lahaleon, Alvert Lamy, and Destry Siutza.
