Myron Panteah , Zuni/Navajo - New Mexico, USA Native American Jewelry
Myron passed away March 2, 2016 at the age of 49.
Another beautiful example of Myron's superlative work in silver and gold. This classic Storyteller/Petroglyph cuff reflects Myrons humor and exhibits his exceptional skills. I absolutely love the jackrabbit!.
At the bottom of one side of the bracelet he has stamped a three arrows, side-by-side. On the other side are a dragonfly and several other symbols that appear to be snakes and zias.
He is a third generation jeweler but also trained under Duane Maktima at Pueblo V Design Institute. The cuts are all hand done with a saw.
The picture with the white background was accidentally shot the upside down...
I pretty sure Myron may have used Argentium silver on this but I'm not sure of it as he did not use the special symbol for it and, obviously, I have no way of confirming it now.
