Beverly Weebothee Zuni Jewelry, Native American Jewelry
This is signature piece by Beverly. It was purchased in late 2011 which helps explain the rich quality of the coral and turquoise. Clearly, taking into account the weight of the pendant, the cabochons are not as deep as the bezel but they sure are pretty. I wish I saw things like this more these days but materials like this are very dear now.
Beverly is part of a long line of Zuni jewelers. She was born in 1953 and became active in the early 1970's. I know she was teaching her children. I haven't come across Beverly's work in several years so I cannot confirm if she is still working.
This item is NOT pre-owned, I'm just getting around to photographing and posting it. Not sure why I didn't prioritize getting this up but, here it is. I have several more pieces I picked up at the same time that I will eventually get around to posting.
