Glendora Fragua, Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico, USA
Glendora has won countless major awards for her scraffito work. This little plate of scraffito bird effigy and abstract designs is totally handmade (no pottery wheel).
This is a totally new piece. Glendora did a custom order of pots for me in 2011 but they have been sitting in a closet waiting for my website to go live and for me to find the time to photograph and post.
Glendora is one of the top tier of potters of her generation. Please see further biographical info on her in the heading of her collection page.
