Artie Yellowhorse-Navajo
Necklace Flower
Single Layer Dogwood 7 Blossoms
Sterling Silver

Artie Yellowhorse, Navajo

This handmade design is less elaborate than the 3D dogwood but absolutely gorgeous.  They started making this about late 2015 or early 2016 but this is first time I've been able to get my hands on this piece.

Necklace has two arced silver rails joined at each end with jump rings to permit the necklace to hang and lay properly when worn. The right side is longer than the left side has the jump rings for size adjustment, the right side has a lobster claw latch.

In the comparison photo, this necklace is on the left.

I also have earrings and a link bracelet in this style.

Any lines or black marks in the photos are reflections, the 3D dogwood pieces are probably the most difficult thing I have to photograph.

Jewelry has been in the Yellowhorse family for generations and many of Artie's nephews are well know, in their own right.  She and her daughter's Desiree and Lei Lani not only are talented and great at what they do, they are a lot of fun!   Artie has served as a judge at Santa Fe Indian Market and was on the Board of Directors of IACA (Indian Arts and Crafts Association).
