Source: Bennard & Frances Dallasvuyaoma - Hopi/Pima, New Mexico
Handmade quad inlay work with two sections each of deep purple sugilite and lab opal. The sand cast silver setting is unique to this couple. The Dallasvuyaomas have a huge collection of rare natural rough gemstones which explains the amazing variety and quality of their stonework.
The Dallasvuyaomas do beautiful work, Bennard is a nephew of Charles Loloma. They have been in Indian Market for many years. Both are highly educated, Frances is a retired attorney and Bennard an educator. Both are very involved with native traditions and affairs.
I purchased this several years ago when Sugilite was more avaialble and less expensive. This piece is a real deal for the price.
